She broke Larry Boy and the Rumor Weed.
One of the ways we get by without much money is to rent all our movies from the library. We rent three Veggie Tales every week.
It doesn’t save much money, however, when she breaks one of said Veggie Tales in half. So I went to Amazon.com and ordered a “Like New” replacement.
Shhh… don’t tell the library. I figure this way is cheaper than the replacement fee.
Ohhh noooooo!!! 😮
Oooo– I hope your library is different than ours.
Ours has magnetic stickers etc. on everything, so buying a new disc isn’t enough.
Hi Beth! Our blog is http://teamrinntx.blogspot.com. I did find the washing soda–yay! I hear my lovely washer right now washing our clothes with my new detergent. I’m pumped about it! Still begging Dave to build me a clothesline outside…. 😉 It’s fun to be in touch with you! 🙂
Amy – Nope, just the call number written in permanent marker – easily copied! You made me sweat though, I had to go check! Maybe the magnetic device is on the cover? We plan on giving them back their own cover, just with the new DVD inside!
Bethany – You did read the warning about hard water, right? The blog where I got my laundry recipe from warned that over time, due to her hard water, there was soap build-up on her clothes! I blogged about it, saying that I’ve not experienced that yet (besides the waterproofing of some diapers), and plan to continue using my detergent until I notice a buildup, then I plan on alternating it with store-bought detergent, which should remove the buildup. I’ll let you know how my laundry situation goes; you do the same! I’m excited about your possible clothesline… mine is full right now!
