As a parent, one thing I have learned is to always, always keep Tic Tacs in my diaper bag. Why?
- The perfect after-shot remedy.
- For the check-out lane in Wal-Mart. “We already have candy, see?” (Works for my little girl, too.)
- Prolongs happy-time well into naptime when morning errands run over.
- Fools people into believing I had enough time this morning to brush my teeth.
- At only 2 calories per mint, it’s healthier than most.
- One container lasts forever! Unless, of course, you leave your diaper bag where a certain toddler can get into them…

Funny! I chow down the tic tacs and they are gone within a day. But I only buy the orange ones, which are pretty much candy to me. 🙂
Oh, I have to stay away from the orange ones! I eat them like Nerds; I chug the whole container!
I’ll have to keep this in mind – when I have toddlers.
I like to chew gum when I get a hankering for snacking. I’m horrible about snacking. Even if I spit out the gum, the minty-fresh taste in my mouth prohibits me from enjoying any other foods until the taste fades. 🙂
ohh, I was addicted to organge tic tacs for a long time. But I’ve been clean for 3 and a half years. Yes that’s right its been 3 and a half years since I had an orange tic tac. that just shows how bad i was addicted.
but yah. I’ll have to remember this when Lexi gets old enough to have a tic tac.
It also makes a fun shakey noise when shaken.
i like that idea! and they won’t melt in the heat, either! i’ll have to try it!
What a great idea! My kids loved these when they were little.
Just remember that orange tic tacs and genric motrion look alike. We had this long talk when my 2 found their love of orange tic tacs. Always ask Mama “Can I eat a tic tac?” And then Mama will tell you if it is ok. Esp. at Nana’s house when she forgets and leaves med on the table to take with lunch!!!!
I’m really bad with Tic Tac’s. I’m eating some right now actually. I can’t help saving them! I chugg the whole container down at once and then sit there crunching away for 15 minutes!
