Is it poor form for a wife to say this to her husband? Or just if she says it every time she should.
Something I find myself telling Josh over and over is this: “Make sure there is a clean diaper underneath the baby before you take off the messy one.”
Josh was changing Benjamin’s diaper tonight. Benjamin was being himself (i.e. irresistibly adorable). In this particular case, he was being abnormally wiggly and squirmy, possibly enjoying this rare chance to move freely without the usual bulk of a diaper getting in the way. Not wanting to miss this historic cuteness, Josh went for the camera. He turned it to the video setting, and clicked “record”…
Just as Benjamin discovered he wasn’t quite done filling his diaper.
Only there was no diaper.
Not on him.
Not under him.
And it’s all caught on film.
Er… memory card.
I love this. It reminds me oh too well of many memories, the most recent being of course Lexi’s face painting experience. One time Lexi actually managed to finish her business while I had her legs up in the air to wipe her bottom. Yah… her “business” launched clear across the room. No i’m not over exagerating. I literally cleaned up the mess about 5 ft from her changing table.
