Benjamin has a total of … three long sleeve shirts. As the weather grew colder I was sure we were going to be heading to Once Upon a Child. And as cheap as the gently used clothes are there, I was still not looking forward to spending the money. Because we had just bought him clothes! And they still fit! They just weren’t the right season.
And then I remembered I had packed away some of Olivia’s clothes as “Gender Neutral.” Being the organized person I am, I tore her closet apart searching for the allusive bag went right to where I knew I had placed the bag and searched the goodies within.
And what to my wandering eyes did appear? Why, three white long-sleeved onesies, just Benjamin’s size.
And we don’t wear these plain, oh no. We put his studly polo shirts over them. Observe the studliness:
So now he has SIX long sleeved shirts. I think we can survive until Christmas like that. Especially if he rewears the white onesie I would never do a thing like that. Never.
Really great tip! I love layering for stretching a wardrobe – even my own!
And so cute and fashionable. It’s all about layering you know! Awesome blessing to remember that stuff you had saved.
He is so cute… I mean studly! 🙂
THAT is a fantastic photo. What a doll – er, stud. 😉 This is a great idea. My daughter has worn sundresses through the winter many a time thanks to tights and a sweater. I’ll have to use this idea for my son.
Great post. Love the pic…you just want to “eat m’ up.”
You’re a good mom! Blessings!
What’s your home address? and, what is Benjamin’s size?
Steph
OH, and my email is stephaniandmocha@yahoo.com
This look was so cute I think I’m gonna buy some long sleeve onesies now.
Yay, Western! Your baby boy will thank you for making him such a frugal stud.
ok, he is so handsome. I can’t wait to get my hands on those cheeks!
Oh, and we do layering a bit with Lexi, and I found the perfect white shirt on good will a few weeks ago to layer for me!
I used to always do that, but i had forgotten. Thanks!
