…is that manufacturers put TAGS on electrical cords warning you to keep your child AWAY from said cords.
If it weren’t for the tag, the cords around my house would have rested comfortably in obscurity. But no. The tags scream out to my child.
“TOUCH ME.” “EAT ME.” “I AM YOUR FAVORITE TOY.”
And so I spend half my day dragging Benjamin out from underneath the computer desk. And diaper changes have turned atrocious ever since he noticed that there is a TAG on the wipe warmer cord. I have become quite proficient in changing a diaper on a backwards baby.
Josh thinks our child might have an unnatural obsession with tags (and paper. and plastic shopping bags.). Is it true? Or do all children do this?
Did you get your wallet back?
Can you cut the tags off all the cords? Cause you have been fairly warned by the company about their safety, right :)?
Have you seen those taggie blankies where they sew all those ribbon tags around the edge? My neighbor made one for our baby, so we’ll see if this helps make positive fun about the tag obsession. And yes, I think it is normal.
B is normal, if not Lexi is crazy too. She loves the tags on everything.
You know… I’m making one of those tag blankets for my nephew to be born in January, I could make one for B and you could see if it works if you want.
and I’m SO glad you found your wallet.
