Because I am getting nothing done.  Well, besides the basics.

Like laundrylunchdishesdinnerchangeamilliondiaperswhilenursinganeedybaby.

But I want to blog more!  And in case you haven’t noticed, the reading around here’s been a bit skimpy.

I also want to start cleaning the whole apartment, not just vacuuming when the accumulation of crumbs on the floor becomes potential choking hazards.

I want to dust!  De-clutter!  I want time to socialize!  Make friends!

And so I must organize my time.  Here is Schedule: Beta Version

7:00-7:30- Wake up and get pretty (This involves a hair dryer).

(Presumably, Benjamin woke up at the same time I did (never fails.) and Josh changed his diaper while I was showering.  I’ll find time to get him dressed later…)

7:30-8:00- Read Bible while munching Apple Cinnamon Cheerios and feeding the Boring Plain Cheerios to Benjamin.  PRAY FOR THE DAY.

8:00-8:30- Olivia up, re-diapered, dressed, and breakfasted.  (I also put in a load of laundry and do her devotions during her breakfast.)

8:30-9:00- Clean kitchen, unload and load dishwasher.

9:00-9:30- Dress Benjamin.  Change Olivia’s messy diaper (She’s got her own schedule.).  Hang laundry.  Fold laundry from previous day.  Put away laundry from previous day.  This may take more than half an hour.  That’s okay, I doubt it will take me half an hour to do the previous scheduled event.

9:30-10:00- Play with Benjamin and Olivia.

10:00-10:30- Put Benjamin down for naps either while watching I Love Lucy or reading a book.

10:30-11:00- Play with Olivia

11:00-11:30- Lunch (Benjamin should be up – if he ever really went down.  He tends to take brief little catnaps in the morning).

11:30-12:00- Clean up kitchen.  Finish dishes if I was interupted earlier.  (Me? Interupted?  Never.)  Or finish laundry if needed.

12:00-12:30- Family Pilates!  (I foresee Olivia having a blast with these.  And I foresee Benjamin being bored/getting into trouble/getting kicked.)

12:30-1:00- Play with Olivia and Benjamin.

1:00-1:15- Put Olivia down for naps.

1:15-1:30- Put Benjamin down for naps.

1:30-2:00- Make myself some hot tea and reread my Bible passage for the day.  PRAY FOR THE DAY.

2:00-3:00-  Hello, Computer.  Did you miss me?  I’ve missed you…

3:00-4:00-  Bake a dessert (as needed), Clean some part of the apartment (bathroom, dust, vacuum, de-clutter, sweep).

4:00-4:15- Olivia up and cuddles with Mommy (She’s a slow waker-upper.).

(I’m sure Benjamin is already up.  I probably had to bake and/or clean with him in the sling.)

4:15-4:30 – Play with Olivia and Benjamin.

4:30-5:30- Cook dinner and get apartment Daddy-Ready.

5:48– Daddy’s bus!

5:49-6:30– Dinner!

6:30-7:00– Clean the cooking/eating areas.

7:30-8:00– Family Play!

8:00-8:30- Baths (on alternating nights)

8:30-9:00- Brush teeth, change diapers, put away toys, get jammies on, all-out-get-the-children-ready-for-bed.

9:00-9:15- Josh rocks Olivia while I nurse Benjamin.  In a perfect world both children will fall asleep simultaneously and will sleep the rest of the night.  (Ha!)

9:15-9:30- Loose Ends Time (Yeah, otherwise known as Miscellaneous.  Maybe it’s paying bills.  Maybe it’s emailing a friend.  Or calling a relative.  Stuff we didn’t get to do during the day.)

9:30-10:30- Mommy/Daddy Wife/Husband Time

10:30-11:00– Get ready for bed.

11:00-7:00 Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz (With a couple hundred nightly nursings from Baby Benjamin.  It’s okay.  I sleep through them for the most part.)

So what do you think?  Any obvious flaws?  Anything I forgot?  Completely unreasonable?  Total feasible?  Do you have a schedule?  How does that work for you?
