So Shannon over at Rocks in My Dryer is shaking things up this week and her usual Tip Carnival, Works For Me Wednesday, is devoted to the online shops we can’t live without.
And you know? As much as I would love to say, “Oh, I only shop at REAL stores, looking those REAL people in their REAL faces,” I can’t. I just can’t say that.
Because, for one, if I only bought cloth diapers from the real stores around here… I would have quit a looooong time ago.
So here are the diaper sites that work for me:
www.cottonbabies.com – EXCELLENT customer service. I just can’t say enough about Jenn, the owner. She’s walked me through a variety of problems, and doesn’t hesitate to replace faulty products (which are few and far between). Very nice variety of products. However, shipping isn’t free until you spend $74.95.
www.nickisdiapers.com – I’m not familiar with the customer service here, but they have a great selection AND all their diaper covers ship free. (Pocket diapers and all-in-one diapers count as diaper covers!) Their prices also are the most competitive I’ve found. They also take PayPal, for those of you who do not use credit cards.
www.kellyscloset.com – If you sign up for their newsletters, every now and then you’ll receive coupon codes for free shipping, 5% discounts, and other goodies like that. They also have fantastic Black Friday giveaways every year. (Free shipping isn’t until $99.)
www.jardinediapers.com – I’ve never actually ordered from here, but they do sell my favorite bib. They also have an Endless Cover Program. In that program, after purchasing six covers, you never have to pay shipping on a cover again. (Again, all-in-one and pocket diapers count as “covers.”)
And, this isn’t really a “diaper” site, but it’s the next step so I’ll include it anyway:
www.babymallonline.com sells the training pants I recently bought for Olivia. They have a nice 5-ply middle, just absorbent enough to catch the beginning of an accident. They also are very easy for a toddler girl to tell which hole are for legs (we had some on which I couldn’t tell). This store also has flat $4.99 shipping for all orders under $100 and free shipping for beyond that.

What are your favorite online stores? Your favorite online DIAPER stores? Did I leave out your favorite? I know I left out hers… 🙂
Hi! I found your site from the WFMW link. I was going to post about Nickis Diapers but peeked over at the 2 cloth diaper posts to see if they had already been mentioned. IT is my FAVORITE cloth shop, but I’m excited to check out a few you mnetioned that I’d never heard of. But just wanted to comment on the customer service for Nickis… I have been a faithful customer for the last 16 months, and she is WONDERFUL! Excellent (above-and-beyond) customer service, in my opinion. What brings me back, though, is the prices and good selection. Thanks for sharing the other shops– I can’t wait to shop!!! (I mostly shop Nickis, Green Mountain, & I think Lions, & Mamas Commune (haven’t been to the last 2 in a while).
Amazon and Ebay
I was also going to post about cloth diaper sites, but I’m glad I didn’t because it would have been very redundant!
You’ve got my top 3 diaper sites: Kelly’s Closet, Cotton Babies, and Nicki’s Diapers. I have found these to have the best selection of diapers and accessories.
I also really like http://katieskisses.com. They were great at sending the diapers right away, which was important when we only get mail once every two weeks and the mail needed to be there by a certain day!
I have to plug Deb’s Diapers at http://www.MadeByMama.com
Her covers are simply some of our favorites. Her prices are competitive and she’s a super nice lady to boot. We have gotten so much cute embroidered fluff from her over this past year and a half!
(And I’m not just saying that because I sell stuff on her site under “mama k creations” LOL)
PS forgot to say I Nikis is a favorite too. As is Abby’s Lane.
I’m out of the diapers, but a friend isn’t.
I’ll refer her.

Have a great week!!!
Thanks for this post! I actually don’t do cloth yet and have really been looking into it. I made up my mind a few months ago but when I started looking in to it…well, there’s just so much I got overwhelmed! So thanks again!
Oooh, I just found this site. I did the same list but for New Zealand cloth nappy makers – its an international cloth revolution! Aren’t they the cutest!
