We went to the park this weekend to celebrate the first glimpse of sun in approximately 40 days.
(The laundry piles attest to this as well.)
It was pretty hard to take a bad picture given the perfect lighting and beautiful children. So sit back and enjoy my temporarily gained photographical skillz.
Off to the playground:
Taking a lesson from her brother, The Climber:
Not to be outdone:
I tried to interest him in a more social play setting, but I don’t think he appreciated it.
Pretty in pink:
Not to be outdone:
And lest you think I tricked/forced/bribed/coerced that pink hat on him in any way:

To participate in Meet-and-Greet Monday: Post pictures of someone you’d like to us to “meet” on your blog. It doesn’t have to be someone new each week (obviously – I post of the same two people each week). The idea is that someone new from the blogosphere will happen upon this site each Monday and we can “introduce” ourselves to them. Because this is a friendly place. Also, this is a great excuse to post pictures for the Grandmas.
Just make sure you are linking to your Meet-and-Greet post – NOT your homepage. It just makes life easier that way. Then put a link in your post back to here so that your readers can “meet” someone new today, too! And as always, thanks for keeping it family friendly
I got some shots of kids-in-the-sunshine over the weekend, too. Natural lighting can’t be beat.
I was so on top of things, I wrote my Meet-and-Greet post FRIDAY and scheduled it for today!
Great shots of your little ones on the playground!
We were at a playground at a fair this weekend. I should have gotten a few pics of my daughter… they would have been pretty funny. She was trying desperately to play, but there were tons of big kids (too big for this playground, really) running around wild. My daughter kind of stood there, frozen, and watched in amazement as the big kids just took over.
Oh and Congrats about the house!!! Hope all goes well with the inspection, etc!
I love your pictures! I hope you are feeling well in this pregnancy! 🙂
I miss my grandkids!
Love your house, especially the yard!
Miss y’all and love y’all,
