If you care to read my excuse for my tardiness, it is as follows: Spent last night preparing for a CVS trip where I had to spend no less than $56.98 in ECB, which means after all coupons. And had to wait til naptime to get the pictures from the past week all organized and captioned.
There. I feel better. Because it is obviously not my fault.
Hey! Hey you in there!
Revenge.
Blowing bubbles.
I was setting the table for taco night. My back was only turned for one second.
The Daddy’s glasses broke. But he engineered a fix – with duct tape.
Our day at the park began with a tire swing.
And then we went for a hike. Where would Olivia have gotten that idea from?
Oh. Right.
So cute!
Setting a good example.
Pensive.
There were hundreds of stairs. Hundreds.
Closing in on naptime.
Out cold.
With Mommy this time!
Silly face edition.
Awake and reading for a snack. (That’s a rock.)
Want some?
If you don’t stop eating rocks, we’re going to leave you in this creek.
He made his decision.
But we decided to keep him anyway.
Carrying her Olivia doll.
There is a rock entirely in his mouth at this point.
A good part of the trail was walking barefoot down this creek. We all loved it!
Now her dolly is walking in the creek like we are.
Olivia – don’t!
Alas, I couldn’t stop her.
Benjamin was THRILLED with the SPLASHING.
This is what we did with our shoes, by the way.

To participate in Meet-and-Greet Monday: Post pictures of someone you’d like to us to “meet” on your blog. It doesn’t have to be someone new each week (obviously – I post of the same two people each week). The idea is that someone new from the blogosphere will happen upon this site each Monday and we can “introduce” ourselves to them. Because this is a friendly place. Also, this is a great excuse to post pictures for the Grandmas.
Just make sure you are linking to your Meet-and-Greet post – NOT your homepage. It just makes life easier that way. Then put a link in your post back to here so that your readers can “meet” someone new today, too! And as always, thanks for keeping it family friendly.
That hike looks absolutely gorgeous! Sometimes I wish I did not live in a desert.
Cute pictures…looks like you had a great time.
What great pictures!! It looks like ya’ll had a great time outside. 🙂
Awww looks like Olivia really loves her doll. Isn’t that so cute? I love watching my daughter play with her dolls.
It’s fun to “experience” your family walk through the pictures- good photo narrating. 🙂
Looks like a great time! So, Daddy got to be the pack mule, huh? 😉
That looks just like Glen Helen here in Ohio! How nice that we have these great hiking places all over the midwest!
