To entertain the kids, I thought I’d break out the ol’ buck o’ water trick. Except Benjamin mistook it for a pool.

And then Olivia proceeded to give him a bath.

And then bathed herself.

Benjamin loved being wrapped in a towel. Perhaps it brought him back to the days of his swaddled infancy?

It wasn’t long before I realized I needed a bigger Rubbermaid container. I found one. And my maternity clothes are currently on the floor of our bedroom.

The boy likes to splash.

Not sure what he’s pointing to, but ain’t he adorable?

Oh, this one. I had made cookies. And he used his climbing abilities. And I used my chair-pushing abilities. And he used his reaching abilities. But I ended up winning.

Too rainy for a pool outside. He reminisces.

Yesterday, we all went to the BIG pool, instead of napping. They held up beautifully. And then crashed. I had been asleep there, too, but alas, no one took a picture of that.

I tried to hard to capture the atmosphere of this peaceful evening. But you can’t feel the warmth of the sun or the relief of the breeze. You can’t even tell the sun is slightly setting. I guess sometime pictures need more than 1,000 words.

Waking up. A bit confused.

He got over his confusion as soon as he saw the food (we were cooking out).

Look at that angel. Halo and everything.

After dinner treats – POPSICLES.

Okay, okay, I’ll share.

First popsicle. She looks so neat, doesn’t she? Can’t see the purple juice dripping down her arm and chin and onto her dress, can you?

Such a good sister. Sharing her mess, er, I mean popsicle.

To participate in Meet-and-Greet Monday: Post pictures of someone you’d like to us to “meet” on your blog. It doesn’t have to be someone new each week (obviously – I post of the same two people each week). The idea is that someone new from the blogosphere will happen upon this site each Monday and we can “introduce” ourselves to them. Because this is a friendly place. Also, this is a great excuse to post pictures for the Grandmas.

Just make sure you are linking to your Meet-and-Greet post – NOT your homepage. :-) It just makes life easier that way. Then put a link in your post back to here so that your readers can “meet” someone new today, too! And as always, thanks for keeping it family friendly.
