Oh, help me. Took a bazillian (not to be confused with Brazilian) pictures of my family this weekend. I finally learned how to use my camera. (No, haven’t cracked the manual yet…) Now I can control the exposure!
So be prepared to be dazzled at my photography skillz:
I love this picture. It looks like Josh is seriously taking a verbal beating here.
We were eating a picnic lunch when a huge truck pulled up behind me. Benjamin was captivated. Trucks, cars, trains, and bugs. They are the coolest things in the world to him. He looks at and reaches for a caterpillar the same way Olivia looked at and reached for a baby when she was his age.
Olivia had to prove to me that she had eaten sandwich before I would give her any more chips. And, by the way, you know you’re a mother when you can find the beauty in a picture like this. I think she’s gorgeous.
Benjamin didn’t need the convincing to shove massive pieces of deli meat into his mouth.
“If it’s biodegradable, it’s not littering. Let’s see if I can make it across the street…”
“And you just think about what you’ve done!”
Benjamin makes the best model. He’s always staring off into the distance.
Or climbing something and looking completely proud of himself.
Olivia, cute as she is, is at the stage where she’s thinking entirely too much about how to smile.
So, to get a decent picture, I have to catch her off her guard.
While his sister admires the flowers, Benjamin prefers a good stick and some dirt.
Can’t love this picture enough.
Reason #358943 why a child needs a sibling – so you can take pictures like this.
My favorite picture of Benjamin from this particular day.
Though this one ranks up there, too.
The Daddy/Daughter relationship is a beautiful thing.
Post your link to your pictures below! Can’t wait to meet up with you and your family!

I LOVED your pictures. I actually really like the one of Olivia with food in her mouth. Her eyes are so beautiful! Benjamin’s eyes are great too for that matter. Cute, cute, cute.

Hey! I didn’t know you knew her personally either. I have seen your site on hers before. We lived and worked together in the Dominican Republic. Daniel now has my old job! I was the principal at our little Christian school and now he is! They are so great! How do you know them? Must be from college if you are calling her Tree??? Did you know Sky too? Sky was one of our students in the Dominican Republic. Just reconnected with her recently on Facebook!
