Welp, got off the 8 hour train ride yesterday at 7:30, drove 2 and a half hours home, crashed (into bed, that is), and I’m convinced it’s still Monday.

So here’s your meet-and-greet:

Benjamin got sick the day before we left. I was thinking “Woe is me,” but, really, a sleepy, sniffly 18 month old is more travel worthy than I would have assumed. And MUCH more travel worthy then an active healthy one, as I found out on the return trip.

Here he is the day after arriving. Only when he paused did you get a glimpse of his red eyes. And he didn’t pause very often.

Olivia had a ball learning how to put puzzles together with her Gammy. We’ll have to stock up on those around here. The Christmas list… it is growing…

The concentration…

The completion…

The jubilation!

They LOVED the piano. Their rendition of “Jesus Loves Me” is now my ringtone. I love technology.

Private lessons.

Basket heads.

I love rural settings. Look at that view!

Olivia also got pretty good at Memory. Then again, Gammy let her have several turns in a row.

Snacking on the counter.

{Giggle} “I don’t get to do THIS at home!”

We also got to see Aunt Shanny’s volleyball game. Here she is, setting her team up for victory! (Get it?! “Setting!” I’m hilarious.)

I even got to see a college friend of mine that I hadn’t seen in ages! We sat and talked about politics like the grown-ups we’d become.

Then we played Twister.

Olivia and Shanny spun for us.

Hey. That’s not fair.

Is he helping me keep my balance? More like maliciously trying to tip me over.

Pretty sure my hand’s in the wrong spot here…

“Head on blue.” (He won with that move.)

So what did YOU do this past week? That about sums up mine. Plus 21+ hours of travel that I chose not to commemorate with pictures.

Pretend it’s Monday with me and let’s play the Meet-and-Greet game! Take a picture of whomorwhatever it is you’d like us to meet and then link to that POST (not your homepage) below in Mr. Linky.
