Guess what we did on the last day of October?

We dressed the kids up in cuddly-soft costumes and took them around to the neighbors to beg for candy.

Hmm… and you say I can’t have it *all*?

The only night of the year we let them load up on sugar at 8:30 at night:

(We then proceeded to have races up and down the hallway until the referees (Josh and I) collapsed and the children proceed to run around on top of us.)

On One-Of-The-Days I didn’t feel like cooking, we headed to Steak ‘n Shake (yay, coupons). Benjamin fell asleep on the ride and we didn’t want him to miss the meal:

Then, hilariously enough, he started EATING THEM IN HIS SLEEP.
