Mega, because I have only slightly less than 20 pictures to overwhelm you with today. Are you ready?
Here are some dead-of-winter Missouri pictures. Taken the day after New Years. Note the heavy winter jackets as we brave the cold for a game of football:
Olivia LOVED this game.
“Fumble!” (I do believe she actually yelled that out at this point, too.)
And she wasn’t the only one to go down that day:
But he wasn’t the best at catching the ball:
(Don’t worry, he was actually throwing the ball. It’s just funnier if you think it’s hitting him in the face instead.)
So after a few pointers from Olivia:
He enjoyed it, but maybe a little too much:
And, in typical girl-fashion, Olivia stops mid-game to make some grass angels:
But I preferred sky-gazing with my babies:
Benjamin got a little jealous of the sky:
We broke out the boomerangs in preparation of meeting Australia Dave (Aunt Sassa’s boyfriend from… you guessed it… AUSTRALIA.)
I worked on perfecting my motion shots:
(I had to run really fast…)
Oh, the crazy things you find in Mennonite Country:
An actual water-pump-thing-gummy!
And once we returned home, we were faced with an obstacle. Three Christmases in one year left us with more toys than we knew what to do with. So we organized! With Rubbermaid containers!
I love it. I just stand in the doorway and stare sometimes.
And that’s it for Meet-and-Greet-Mega-Monday, I can’t wait to see what pictures you have to share!
I just organized all of Katherine’s toys onto shelves too, and sometimes I just stand in her room and smile. It really helps enforce our new “one toy at a time” rule.
I love the “My boys” picture. Classic.
And, where on earth did you get all those Rubbermaid containers? Nice!
I love the quality of light in your photos – the kids are cute too! I guess since I live in Kansas we are practically neighbors 🙂
