The weather turned warm. We were outside a lot. There are LOTS of pictures. Consider yourself forewarned.
Why we could never live in suburbia:
Yep. That’s my three-year-old hanging cloth wipes on a jury-rigged clothesline hung on an old swing set. HOA‘s would hate me.
You can’t have an 80 degree day without bratwursts and hamburgers. You just can’t.
He is slightly thrilled by the prospect of fire.
Thus, he loves the Fire Stick.
Olivia seems more curious than wanting to light her mommy’s camera on fire. For that, I’m grateful.
Benjamin found a pile of rocks. He then slid down the pile of rocks on his bottom.
And army-crawled back up said pile of rocks.

Yep, that’s me. Eight months pregnant. Dangling my two-year-old over the side of the boat.
They wanted to put their feet in the water.
The preciousness that is my husband with his children.
After not being allowed to climb or horse-play for two hours, Benjamin was ready to get tangled up in the first thing he came in contact with.

The kids. Precious, as always. Isn’t the weather wonderful?!
I love it!!! Your kids are so cute <3
Remember where you put these pictures. You’ll want them for their wedding reception slide shows! 🙂
Beautiful day!
I think my favorite is Olivia hanging out the laundry to dry on the swing set!
aww… i love the thoughtful spot!!! these are great pics. <3 it!
Hehe being able to hang clothes outside is a HUGE reason why Paul and I are not looking at any houses in neighborhoods with HOAs! (Though, some DO let you but you have to have a privacy fence all around your backyard.) I love how carefully Olivia is hanging the clothes up. Is she as careful and gentle as the pictures make her look?
LOVE the pics as usual! Olivia hanging the laundry and Benjamin sitting on the stump are some of my faves. Just so durn cute!
I wouldn’t want to live in a place where you can’t hang your clothes out either. I like the look of laundry hanging on a line.
Also, where was your life vest?! Pregnant bellies are probably buoyant, but I wouldn’t wanna find out in that crick, wherever ya where.
Ashley – She really was that meticulous and attentive! I explained to her once how to fold over the corner and attach the clothespin, and she did the rest all by herself! She’s a very observant little girl who notices the finest details!
Kacie – haha, I started out with one, but half way through the trip, the floor of the canoe was wet and the kids wanted something dry to sit on. So Josh and I donated our vests. 🙂 The sacrifice of parents…
aw, what a sweet family! I love all the photos. Found you today while googling “replacing velcro on bumgenius” and have bookmarked your blog…enjoying the reading so far 🙂
