Levi was born 9lb 2.4oz.
Forty-eight hours later, he was down to 8lb, 11oz.
Five days later, he was up to 9lb 3.8 oz.
Six days after that (today) he weighed in at 10lb 7oz.
So yeah. I’ve been nursing. Nursing right now, as a matter of fact.
Any other NAK (Nursing At Keyboard) mommas out there?
*waves*
Chunky baby! just kidding. 🙂 he’s a cute one though! I have been naking all day it seems. We tried to wean her of one nursing. it worked two days in a row, then yesterday and today she wanted to nurse all.day.long. Which is fine for a newborn, but a 10 month old…
Way to go!! He’s a hungry little guy.
I’m ALWAYS NAK. *return wave* 🙂
That’s how I started reading blogs . . . when my firstborn was nursing, and nursing, and nursing . . .
#2 is 15 mo. and still going . . .
i’m nak at comp right now 🙂 and like pp i started reading blogs while nursing mt last baby.
hey me too! nothing like typing one handed…..
Go, Levi, go! And gooo Beth!
Johnny is so distractable right now that the only time I can get him to nurse for a good long feeding is when he’s going to sleep or half-asleep. It’s like he’s too busy during waking hours to eat. Um…
Not at the moment… but I just got finished nursing… and then pumping!!! 🙂 Gotta love us multi-taskers!!! NAK’s unite!!!
P.S. My little guy came out at 9 lbs. 3 oz. (and was 21 1/4 inches long)!!! And funny thing, his birth pictures were very VERY closely resembling those of your little Levi!!! Crazy!!! My hubby even agreed! I’ll have to figure out how to send a pic for you to see… got Facebook?
Blessings!!!!
The only time I get on the computer anymore I’m nursing. All I can say is thank goodness for spell check!
*we should have an NAK twitter party!
And yay for baby growing so well!!
Just another talent we moms have, NAK’ing! I’m not at the moment but usually am. Now at 6 mos we are not nursing constantly but I know what you mean. My little 6 lb peanut is now almost 17 lbs and just got her first taste of solids! Good luck with everything.
My son is 9mo. and I’ve nursed on my laptop since he was born. I had never even read a blog until then either. I’ve also gotten quite efficient at typing with one hand when need be. We moms are talented at multi-tasking.
I boldly proclaim: “Yes, I still BF and can NAK!!!”
Same here! My daughter is a chunkier and loves to nurse!! She too barely lost any weight right after birth and was right back up to birth weight within a week, and has been NAK for almost 4 months!
Sad thing is, she is going to outweigh my son… He is 26 months, and such a waif!
Any ideas on how to help a 2 year old gain weight?
Wow, that kiddo is doing awesome!!!!!
Congrats on your new one!
Mary, mom to many
