Unless I make myself a cake. Which Olivia thinks I should. In the shape of a dog. But I won’t. So I’m done ’til March.
Three birthdays within a month of each other.
Granted, I didn’t have a make a cake for Levi’s, but having a newborn for the other two definitely made life more interesting!
(We only had 24 little candles. And some random big number candles. This is how I created “28” candles for Josh’s birthday.)
This is how much fire “28” candles make.
Helping Daddy blow out candles.
(Yes, Olivia’s hair needs to be brushed out. It was 10:30pm. Give me a break. :-P)
(And if you’re really bored, you can go back up and count those candles for me. Because I got to thinking afterward and I’m pretty sure there’s only “27”. Because I remembered that Benjamin ate a pink one on Olivia’s birthday.)
(I remembered this because he ate a yellow one this time.)
Happy birthday, Josh!
Oh, you want to know what he got? That’s another post…
When’s your birthday? You may end up with a dog birthday cake yet…
September 6! And I wouldn’t refuse it!!
Hehe I hope our kids’ birthdays are all spread out so we don’t have cakes all on top of each other! (We’re doing well so far!) (My baby might share a birthday with you!) My sis & my bdays are both in December, with Christmas in between. I’m pretty sure most of my bdays I was told “tough” about a cake and handed leftover turkey for special bday meal. But, my mom doesn’t like to bake like you do. 🙂 (And, we don’t like cake. We prefer pie which is usually round instead of shaped.)
Paul’s family has it worse than mine. Between March 15th and April 15th, there are SIX family bdays. Paul’s sister, his dad, himself, his grandfather, his grandmother, and his mom. His two brothers’ bdays are 2 weeks apart in November. Talk about having all the birthdays at once!
In our family it starts with the 3rd week of March and doesn’t end untill after the 3rd week of May. I counted 13 b-days. Yup, thats like two a weekend. And that also includes at least two anniversaries, one of them mine. So, for my family, spring is the big birthday time. Oh, don’t forget that Easter and Mothers Day fall in that time too. Yikes! No wonder I’m ready for the craziness to be over and look forward to getting away for Memorial Day.
