Hi! I tried something new today. I didn’t turn on the computer ’til my Bible was read. Which means I didn’t turn it on ’til 3:30. Don’t get me wrong, I started reading it at 10.
Any-who, I’m finally done selecting and editing pictures for your viewing pleasure!
(There was much nursing, directing, no-no-ing, good-job-ing, laundry-ing, lunch-ing, dishes-ing, and other such mommy-ing in those hours as well. As there will be during the actual writing of this post.)
(The results were inconclusive. We have no idea whether it’s a boy or a girl frog.)
We went to a zoo. And we pet the sharks.
We had a family of kitties adopt us. And move into our garage. Josh is allergic and I’m not fond of how they pee all over the floor regardless of the two litter boxes I [PAID FOR AND] put out there for them.
But we hesitate taking them to a shelter. For two reasons.
One, we don’t have a pet carrier. I have a feeling the humane society would hunt me down if I took kitties in the car in a pillowcase.
Here is Levi on August 5, making him six and a half weeks:
Chunker.
Here’s one of the VERY MANY smiles we’ve been getting from our happy little boy:
Levi loves the water:
(Taken on August 9, making him a day over seven weeks.)
Grandma bought us a wee little wagon. It is cute. And also a skateboard:
Aww, we love the stinky, allergenic, peeing kitty:
We enjoyed the last days of undergrad-free summer by having lunch with daddy often
(Now there isn’t a parking spot within five miles of campus.)
(They stole our bag of chips.)
Levi had fallen asleep in the sling on the walk from the van:
Look, he woke up! And happy!
(If I had photoshop, that blade of grass would be gone. But I don’t. So it remains.)
(Oh, and this was August 13, so a week before he turned two months.)
After lunch, we…
RAN THROUGH THE FOUNTAIN!
Well, Olivia did. Benjamin just ran around:
Olivia tried to coax him in…
But it didn’t work.
Some Momma-Baby love:
(That picture was from August 19, the day before his two month birthday!)
And, for a special treat, I will dedicate this Wednesday’s post to several hundred pictures of JUST LEVI on his two month birthday.
WATCH OUT.
Show us your loved ones. Post your pictures and then link your blog below.
adorable. really. and I’m SO PROUD of you for not turning on your computer until after your Bible was read! good job.
Levi looks so big!
Also, I love teh kitteh in the wagon! That made me chuckle.
Good idea about the Bible and the computer. I oughta be that disciplined!
You may have one of the cutest families on the internet.
Also, our Teddy was in the water from six weeks onward; we’ve finally caved in and going to the pool is our default activity in the evenings, five days a week.
Love this. I too try to do my devos before going to my computer… it’s a hard habit to break! But a good thing to do nonetheless, and I think the Lord blesses it! Your kiddos are just adorable. 🙂 Adn I LOVE the frog! Made me want to hold one myself!!!
….How’s THAT for a scattered comment??? 🙂
If it makes you feel better, we have 2 kittens living in our garage too, and they’re making it smell like cat poop. Or pee. Or something. But our garage is detached, and gets plenty of air (ie has lots of holes on the door, and we leave the door open), so it’s not overwhelming. And, they’ve been eating the cat food we’ve put out for them, but I haven’t seen them in a few days, so maybe they’ll find another bathroom spot.
What a great post and a very full day! I love frogs! Just something about there eyes like they know the meaning of life!
