Hi!  I tried something new today.  I didn’t turn on the computer ’til my Bible was read.  Which means I didn’t turn it on ’til 3:30.  Don’t get me wrong, I started reading it at 10.

Any-who, I’m finally done selecting and editing pictures for your viewing pleasure!

(There was much nursing, directing, no-no-ing, good-job-ing, laundry-ing, lunch-ing, dishes-ing, and other such mommy-ing in those hours as well.  As there will be during the actual writing of this post.)

We found a frog:

(The results were inconclusive. We have no idea whether it’s a boy or a girl frog.)

We went to a zoo. And we pet the sharks.

We had a family of kitties adopt us. And move into our garage. Josh is allergic and I’m not fond of how they pee all over the floor regardless of the two litter boxes I [PAID FOR AND] put out there for them.

But we hesitate taking them to a shelter. For two reasons.

One, we don’t have a pet carrier. I have a feeling the humane society would hunt me down if I took kitties in the car in a pillowcase.

And two, the kids adore them:

We enjoyed the last days of undergrad-free summer by having lunch with daddy often

(Now there isn’t a parking spot within five miles of campus.)

Levi had fallen asleep in the sling on the walk from the van:

(If I had photoshop, that blade of grass would be gone. But I don’t. So it remains.)

(Oh, and this was August 13, so a week before he turned two months.)
