It’s breast cancer awareness month.
So it’s time you all became aware of something.
My mom has cancer.
I feel like it was just last month that she told me she had a lump in her breast, but it was probably a year or more ago. After radiation and a lumpectomy, she was found to have a mass in her liver. Which was found to also be cancerous. And in such a position that it could not be removed.
And now I believe she said she has seven cancerous lesions?
She cut her long hair short and underwent chemo.
Her hair is still in, but she’s lost so much weight because she just doesn’t have the stomach to eat anything.
And the cancer has grown.
So that brand of chemo is over.
And next week they’re trying something new. Injecting a stronger dose of a different brand of chemo directly into the vein that feeds the liver. Very high success rate.
Pray with me?
Thanks.
I’m sorry. Praying.

Absolutely praying.
We are absolutely praying for your mom and family!!! We’ve been praying for her ever since we heard the news!! Postive thoughts and prayers being sent your way!
I am sooo very sorry to hear this, and I think I can relate more than most people to what you are going through. I too am a young mom and just found out in June of this year that my mom has Stage IV Colon Cancer that has spread to her liver. Her first chemo regime didn’t really do much, just kept things about the same, so we have switched her to something different. I know that without God, things aren’t that hopeful looking for a lot of cancer patients, but I also believe that our God still heals today, so I will be praying that He touches your mom and heals her completely, as well as my mom.
P.S. I blog about my mom’s situation on http://fenleyfam.wordpress.com if you ever want to take a peek. Blessings to you!
I love reading your blog. You seem wise beyond your years. So sorry to hear about your mom. My family will pray for you and yours. May God bring you comfort.
I loke you. you know we are praying.
God bless your family. I will be praying.
I will be praying for her. My mom is a breast cancer survivor. Fortunately, after a mastectomy and radiation, she has been free of cancer for several years, and the doctor thinks she will remain so. I can’t imagine what you must be going through!
I’m sorry. Will keep your family in my prayers.
I just ran across your website. My mom also went through breast cancer treatment last year. Best of luck, stay positive, and I will definately pray for you both.
also praying for her safety
hope she can survive it for a long time
