Just wanted to take a minute to tell you that I do still exist.

Josh’s semester is over on Wednesday.  The 12-18 hour days he’s been working should be over then.  My sanity should return shortly thereafter.

I do have my lappy back; Josh was able to procure a desktop at school to work on.

I just don’t get around to blogging much.  As I don’t get very many breaks these days.

The other day, I was grocery shopping.  I had Levi in the Moby (by the way, a review and GIVEAWAY of this awesome baby carrier is coming soon!).  Olivia was walking obediently next to the cart.  I had just granted Benjamin freedom from his cart seat, since his antsiness had climaxed and we were almost done anyway.  He used that freedom to invisibly push the cart from the front while I steered it from the rear.

I actually was grateful for the help, as the four and a half gallons of milk, amongst other groceries, were making the cart quite heavy.  I also enjoyed the astonished and amused looks on strangers’ faces as they watched my overloaded cart power itself through the produce section.

One of the last comments I received before I checked out, though, gave me the largest smile.

It was made by a mother of one, shopping with her husband, her well-behaved little girl sitting mutely in her cart seat.

“I don’t know HOW you’re not crazy right now!”  <– Said with the kindest smile you’ll ever see.

And I smiled back.  A large, toothy grin, if you will.  With equally wide, perhaps even blank eyes accompanying up-stretched eyebrows.

“I’m SO past that right now.”
