She went about five steps backwards today. What little she ate today came back up. She can’t walk by herself. She just lies on the couch.
The hospital bed came today. But she doesn’t want to get in it. I sat by her on the couch and just scratched her back for about 20 minutes, praying for peace.
She won’t eat. She doesn’t hardly talk. And now she can barely walk.
I don’t know whether to hope that she bounces back or that it just ends quickly.

She’s fading fast. I haven’t seen her in a few days. I’m going out again today. Rich says she has to be carried if she wants to go anywhere. Last night she wouldn’t go to sleep. But she couldn’t walk. So she just sat up. All night. Rich sat beside her. She has no peace. She can’t even sleep.
Praying for you and your family, Beth.
I can’t even imagine the pain your family is in. I hope your mom finds inner peace. I experienced a similar thing with my grandmother and she also spent her last days not eating and just sitting. She finally let go when all of us were with her and she felt that any family tensions had been released. I pray for you and your family during this hard time. My heart breaks when I see there is a new post.
From one like minded mom to another. Cherish the memories you have with her and foster new beautiful memories with your own beautiful children.
God Bless.
So sorry, Beth. I will keep praying for you and your family.
((hugs))
Loke you Beth. Praying for peace for your mommy and you all.
Praying, Beth, and sending lots of warm thoughts.
