- How’d You Do That? Training Tips for Success - [...] A friend of mine recently ran a marathon. I’m sure just finishing was a huge goal, but the work…
ha ha! Oh how many times I’ve heard that “Oh… I was supposed to turn there!” while on the phone with you. it made me smile. So proud of you!!
That was so fun to hear your voice! You have the most lovely midwesterny accent and it made me happy.
Also, you are so incredibly impressive! I hope that your muscles treat you well in this recovery time.
Oh I loved this so much! I agree with Jes, how many times have I heard “Oh I was supposed to turn there!” It makes me miss you even more… HOW many more months (*gasp* years???) until I get to see you again?
And, if it gets you updating more often, you should totally keep vlogging. 🙂
Cute video! But, as the carseat stickler, your son sitting directly behind you has the straps around his waist–and not over his shoulders. If you were to get in an accident (God forbid), it would be catastrophic for him! Please tighten his straps around his shoulders!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you “in the flesh”. I’m not even HALFWAY to a marathon yet, but am taking these marathon tips and storing them in the back of my mind for future use. I’ll get there… one day! Thanks for sharing your face and voice with us in such a tangible way. 🙂
I don’t know you personally, but I’ve followed your blog for years. I just saw on Twitter that your mother passed away. I want to let you know that I am praying for you and your family. I have a heavy heart for you this morning. God bless.
