I tried to work with Levi (21 months old) on his pincher grip. I was using clothes pins. I put one in his hand, squeezed the end with him, noted how it opened, and clipped it to the edge of a bucket.
We did that a few times and I got called away. In my absence, he apparently found need to improvise upon the technique.
And by that, I mean, He Does Things His Own Way.
I’m not the only one, right? Your kids do crazy things like this, too? Or is he extraordinarily gifted in mouth-eye coordination? 🙂

You have one creative little guy there! I also liked hearing Olivia in the background “‘Some’ is a tricky word because there’s an O, but you don’t say it. [It sounds like] a U, ‘Sum’”
You’re doing a great job, Mama!
